"Is anybody doing anything with church planting?"  That is the question in a round-table discussion with a group of pastors that God used to arrest my attention about this important subject.

   It is a familiar phrase - church planting.  We Know it is needed; we are in favor of it.  Perhaps we send monthly support to a faithful brother who is planting a church across the country.  But, the question still echoes.  Pastor, "Is anybody (your church) doing anythin g with chur ch plan ting?"

   God has provided us with a wonderful opportunity to partner with other regional churches to "plant a Bible-preaching, independent Baptist church" in Athens, Ohio.  This is a city and county with tremendous spiritual needs and very little Gospel witness.
